The San Joaquin Valley chapter will be sending four delegates to the Peace and Freedom Party's nominating convention in August. Delegates from around California will meet on August 2nd and 3rd to choose the party's presidential candidate for the November election.
On the 15th of March, 2008, California Secretary of State Debra Bowen certified the results of the Presidential Primary election held on February 5th.
